Our Story

Northern Arizona Habitat Conservancy was founded out of a lifelong commitment to the lands and wildlife of our region. After 32 years spent leading and supporting conservation groups, Kevin Hall recognized the need for an organization devoted solely to Northern Arizona's unique habitats. What sets this effort apart is a personal belief that real change grows through strong community partnerships, hands-on action, and a deep respect for the land we call home.

The Conservancy was born to unite neighbors, sportsmen, educators, and youth around a shared mission - ensure healthy wildlife, protected public spaces, and clean water for everyone, today and tomorrow. Our journey is fueled by trust, local pride, and stories of restored landscapes, forged side by side with friends and partners. Every project, every volunteer, and every new supporter adds to a legacy of stewardship that will outlast us all. You are invited to help write the next chapter and make a lasting difference for Northern Arizona's wild places.

About Our Mission

Northern Arizona Habitat Conservancy is powered by a simple promise: protect habitat today to preserve heritage tomorrow. Our mission centers on conserving, restoring, and enhancing the wild places of Northern Arizona through strong stewardship, meaningful education, and active partnership. Every initiative focuses on local impact - from partnering with Arizona Game & Fish and the US Forest Service to involving neighbors of all ages in conservation projects. Through workshops, fieldwork, and open events, we create opportunities for everyone to connect with the land and contribute to its future. What truly matters is bringing together a community that feels pride and responsibility for our region's rich diversity, ensuring that clean water, healthy wildlife, and open spaces endure for generations. Each voice, volunteer, and donation strengthens a vision where nature and community thrive side by side - today and always.
